ONLINE STORE TERMS
1. Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you utilising Paypal Payment software.
2. Online orders may be paid for by secure credit card transaction or internet banking via the Squarespace e-commerce platform and utilising STRIPE payment software.
3. BOOTMODS reserves the right to amend pricing at any time, based on price increases/decreases set by our suppliers and fluctuations in currency on imported items.
STRIPE
4. paymentS are facilitated via STRIPE using their direct payment gateway, your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is then stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction, after which time, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
5. STRIPE adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa & MasterCard. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
SECURITY
6. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
GENERAL
7. All prices are in $NZD and include GST of 15%. Freight is additional and includes GST of 15%.
SHIPPING
8. please arrange the shipping of your boots to us as soon as you have placed your order. ONCE we have received your boots, we will confirm receipt and advise you that your sprig customisation order is underway. YOUR ORDER will be READY 3-5 WORKING days from receipt of your boots - THOUGH SOME DELAYS MAY OCCUR FROM TIME TO TIME. ONCE COMPLETE YOUR ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED OUT VIA STANDARD NZ COURIER AND A TRACKING NUMBER will be PROVIDED TO YOU. NOTE: bootmods take no responsibility for delayed or non-delivery of products by third party service providers. Your order cannot commence until your boots are received and logged against your order number. If you have not placed an order before sending your boots, no customisation will be undertaken until an order is placed and payment made.
PRODUCTS
9. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the images of our products and we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information as required.
MODIFICATIONS TO PRODUCTS AND PRICES
10. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of BOOTMODS.
11. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time.
ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
12. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and contact information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your order and any other information, including your email address if incorrectly entered when you placed your order, so that we can complete your transaction and contact you as needed.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
13. AS OUR MODIFICATION SERVICE IS PRODUCED to ORDER, We DO NOT ISSUE refunds UNLESS THE modified item IS FAULTY (SEE #15 below).
14. If your order cannot be fulfilled due to custom parts being out of stock, you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.
15. IF YOU RECEIVE AN INCORRECT set up to WHAT YOU ORDERED, OR THE ITEM IS FAULTY, PLEASE CONTACT US so that we can appropriately remedy your order. THIS policy lasts 14 days. If more than 14 days have passed since your order delivery date, we cannot offer you a refund or remedy. To be eligible for a return, THE item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
16. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within STRIPE’s STANDARD REFUND DATE RANGE.
PRIVACY POLICY
17. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
18. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
19. When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you have completed a transaction, we invite you to register which allows us to retain your personal details i.e. your name, email, address and phone number, so that you won't have the tedious job of typing them in each time you buy online.
20. When you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
DISCLOSURE
21. We may disclose your personal information only if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
